With continued growth and several projects progressing through the pipeline, they are looking to strengthen their team. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to take a key role in the successful delivery of a major residential development. The Role of Senior Site Manager
- Taking day-to-day responsibility for the successful delivery of residential projects
- Managing projects from the early construction stages through to completion and handover
- Managing Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, direct operatives and subcontractors
- Driving the programme and ensuring key project milestones are achieved
- Maintaining high standards of quality throughout all stages of construction
- Managing health & safety and ensuring site standards are maintained
- Coordinating closely with commercial, technical and design teams
- Managing subcontractors and maintaining strong relationships with the supply chain
- Identifying potential programme and construction issues and resolving them effectively
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard
To be successful as Senior Site Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within residential construction
- A strong track record of delivering major residential developments
- Experience working for a residential developer, housebuilder or main contractor
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and build programmes
- Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills
- A strong eye for quality and attention to detail
- The ability to take ownership and drive the day-to-day delivery of a project
- Ambition to progress further within construction management
