You're managing documents for someone else's vision. Here's the difference: our client's projects are genuinely complex, the kind that need someone who doesn't just file things, but who sees that a missing signature at week three cascades into chaos at week thirty. They're growing, which means the next six months will be nothing like the last six. You could stay where you are. Or you could find out why their Document Controllers don't leave.

This is a site-based role in central London supporting project work that actually demands precision. You'll own document control across multiple concurrent projects, each with their own complexity and stakeholder demands. The business is stable and expanding, not because they're chasing growth, but because they deliver. That means your systems work. Your processes stay because they solve real problems, not because someone invented them in a strategy meeting. You'll see the direct impact of tightening a procedure or catching an error before it becomes expensive.

Document control done right is invisible; nobody notices until it goes wrong. So what? Which means your competence becomes indispensable. The projects you work on will be substantive enough that you're solving genuine problems, not administering busywork. Which means you'll actually want to come to work because the work matters. You're on-site full-time in central London. So what? Which means no context-switching between home and office, no hybrid fatigue, no 'is this a collaboration day?' ambiguity. Which means you can build real working relationships and actually own your environment instead of being perpetually half-present.

This job is five days a week, on-site, no hybrid flexibility. That's the trade-off for having a stable, project-based role where your document control systems genuinely matter. Some people need flexibility; this isn't that job.

Our client delivers project-based services to clients who need things done properly. They're not a startup; they're a business where processes exist because they work, and where growth is a sign of competence, not panic.

Three things only: proven document control experience on complex projects, proficiency in document management systems (you know what you're doing here, not learning), and the ability to work full-time on-site.
