The predicted salary is between 90000 - 110000 £ per year.
Our client is an established and growing main contractor delivering high-quality residential developments across London and the surrounding areas. With a healthy order book and a number of exciting schemes underway, they are continuing to invest in their delivery and commercial teams. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple residential projects, providing leadership and support to their project teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Contracts Manager, or potentially a highly experienced Project Manager ready to take the next step, to join a well-respected contractor with a strong pipeline of future work and opportunities for progression.
Working closely with the senior management team, responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the successful delivery of multiple residential projects
- Providing leadership and support to Project Managers and site-based teams
- Taking overall responsibility for programme, quality, health & safety and project performance
- Ensuring key project milestones and completion dates are achieved
- Working closely with commercial, technical and design teams across multiple schemes
- Monitoring project performance and identifying potential risks or delivery issues
- Managing and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and the wider supply chain
- Building effective relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
- Ensuring consistently high standards of construction and quality across all projects
- Reporting on project performance to the Construction Director and senior management team
- Supporting and developing the wider construction team
To be successful as Contracts Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience at Contracts Manager or senior Project Manager level within residential construction
- A strong track record of successfully delivering major residential developments
- Experience working for a residential main contractor, developer or housebuilder
- Experience overseeing multiple projects or large, complex residential schemes
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent understanding of programme, commercial performance and project delivery
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- The ability to identify issues early and drive projects through to successful completion
