A growing and well-established design & build contractor specialising in commercial interior fit-out projects is looking to appoint a Construction Manager to join its project delivery team. The business delivers a range of CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out schemes, typically ranging from £1m-£3m, with larger projects occasionally exceeding this value. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth, the company is seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to support project delivery across multiple Central London schemes.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership within a collaborative and professional environment where career progression is actively supported as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the on-site delivery of commercial fit-out projects from early construction stages through to completion
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors and specialist trades to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate construction activities in line with programme requirements
  • Work closely with the project management and commercial teams to maintain project budgets and timelines
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure works meet client expectations and specification requirements
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors throughout the delivery process
  • Identify and resolve site issues quickly to minimise disruption to programme delivery
  • Contribute to project progress meetings and internal reporting
Candidate Requirements
  • Around 3-5 years' experience within construction project delivery
  • Experience working on commercial interior fit-out or refurbishment projects is highly desirable
  • Background working with a main contractor or specialist contractor environment
  • Formal construction training such as apprenticeship, HNC, HND or degree preferred
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop within a growing business
