That’s the challenge facing our new Proposition Director, joining Lomond Group on a 12 month fixed term contract with an immediate start.

You'll be based at our St Mary Axe head office in London, working hybrid (three days in the office) with regular time out across the regions, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.

We're offering a competitive salary for this level of role.

  • Own the proposition strategy for Lomond Lettings end to end, setting priorities with the Chief Commercial Officer and leadership team so it aligns with wider commercial and group objectives
  • Identify opportunities for new products, services and revenue streams across the lettings value chain, and build the business case before any goes forward
  • Take propositions from concept to launch, delivering a clearly differentiated lettings proposition to market within 6 months
  • Continuously evolve existing propositions using market trends, competitor activity and performance data
  • Build a deep understanding of landlord, tenant and investor needs through ongoing research, turning insight into real proposition improvements
  • Track market, regulatory and competitor activity so the strategy stays current and evidence based
  • Own the pricing strategy and business case for each proposition alongside the Chief Revenue Officers and Finance
  • Deliver each proposition's commercial performance against agreed margin and revenue targets
  • Report proposition performance, risks and opportunities to the Chief Commercial Officer and leadership weekly at the Trading Meeting
  • Partner with the Chief Revenue Officers, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Legal & Compliance to deliver propositions that work in practice and meet regulatory requirements

We’re not just looking for someone who fits our team; we want to be a good fit for you too! We're looking for individuals with qualities such as:

  • A track record of developing and launching new products, services or propositions from concept to market, ideally within a multi-site or people-driven services business
  • Experience owning a P&L or building business cases, with a track record of delivering measurable commercial outcomes
  • Experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a proposition, product or commercial strategy role, and building consensus without direct authority
  • Confidence using data and insight to shape strategic decisions, with examples of where analysis changed the outcome
  • Experience preparing and delivering reports or presentations to senior stakeholders
  • Experience turning strategy into a hands-on delivery plan and seeing it through to implementation
  • Comfortable making decisions and setting direction in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being established
  • Experience balancing commercial judgement with customer needs, using feedback to shape commercial decisions
  • Here's what you can look forward to
