We're looking for a Management Accountant to join Lomond Group in London, reporting to the Head of Regional Finance, where you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong financial controls across the business.

As one of the UK's leading property services groups, we're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships across departments and ensuring financial information is accurate, reliable and delivered on time.

In this role, you'll support the Head of Regional Finance with month-end reporting, balance sheet ownership, reconciliations and financial compliance activities that help keep the wider business running effectively.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver accurate monthly management accounts in line with agreed reporting deadlines.
  • Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring balances are fully supported and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Prepare and review accruals, prepayments and month-end adjustments to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile key balance sheet accounts including bank, payroll, VAT and control accounts.
  • Manage intercompany accounting activities, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • Work with finance teams to investigate and resolve intercompany discrepancies.
  • Prepare, review and submit quarterly VAT returns for designated entities.
  • Support internal and external audit activities by providing accurate financial information and documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to strengthen financial processes and reporting.
  • Contribute to the effective running of the wider finance function through additional responsibilities as required.
