This is a full-time, permanent position located in Glasgow. You'll enjoy a standard workweek of 35 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The salary is up to Β£45,000 OTE with company vehicle.

Job Purpose & Overview

  • Reports to Sales and Lettings Director
  • Key member of the Management team
  • Provide excellent leadership to all sales and new business staff across the two Glasgow branches.
  • Responsible for the New Business and sales performance across the branches, achieving KPI and budget targets.
  • Setting and monitoring KPI's and teams' performance.

Key Accountabilities and Duties

  • Lead, inspire and train all Sales and New Business staff in the branches to provide excellent customer service and achieve business targets.
  • Provide professional senior management support to all direct reports, ensuring all supervisory processes take place across the whole service area, one to one meetings, performance/absence management and that annual appraisals are conducted to a high standard.
  • Build strong working relationships with other departments of the business.
  • Support the Sales and Lettings Director in achieving the overall KPI's and budgets with annual services and improvement plans.
  • Ensuring the teams are fully trained and competent to deliver their roles and responsibilities.
  • Recruitment, staff mentoring & development, ongoing training, and performance management.
  • This is a fast-paced environment where you will need to be practical minded to solve problems, with the ability to see the 'big picture' and make improvements.
  • Play a key role in the marketing plan for the region to maximise effectiveness.
  • Prepare for and attend Market Appraisals (sales and lettings) and win new business instructions.
  • Ensure that all paperwork/AML documentation is up to date and process followed.
  • Ensure that sales and new business reports are updated and current.
  • Develop and implement key strategies to win and retain business.

We're looking for individuals with qualities such as:

  • Full clean UK drivers' licence
  • Ideally 1 year Property Management or Sales Experience or knowledge of the private rented sector
  • Experience in leading teams and people management duties.
  • Friendly and professional manner when dealing with clients
  • Able to provide excellent customer service
  • Great oral and written communications
  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Confident at relaying information
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Good at time management
