Job Purpose & Overview
As a key member of our regional management team, you will hold ultimate accountability for the operational success and market expansion of our Dundee and St Andrews branches.
This role requires a dynamic, growth-focused leader who can seamlessly manage day-to-day operations while aggressively driving new sales and lettings instructions.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Growth & Market Expansion
- Drive aggressive market share growth across both sales and lettings, turning untapped regional opportunities into active revenue.
- Network proactively within the local property industry to promote the DJ Alexander brand and secure high-value new business instructions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and deploy targeted local campaigns that generate high-quality sales and lettings leads.
- Oversee the full front-end property lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution of valuations, viewings, inspections, inventories, and client updates.
- Branch Leadership & People Development
- Provide excellent leadership to inspire, motivate, and mentor all branch staff across Dundee and St Andrews.
- Manage the complete talent pipeline, including recruitment, onboarding, continuous training, and robust competency building.
- Execute all line-management duties, including regular one-to-ones, structured performance management, and comprehensive annual appraisals.
- Foster a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment for all branch employees.
- Performance, Strategy & Reporting
- Set, monitor, and enforce clear branch KPIs to ensure sales, lettings, and service delivery targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Take ownership of financial performance, managing regional budgets and driving efficiencies to boost branch profitability.
- Deliver clear performance reports directly to Regional Management at HQ in Edinburgh, highlighting strategic opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Apply a 'lessons learned' approach to continuously refine internal processes, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and enhance service standards.
- Stakeholder & Client Relations
- Champion strong, cohesive relationships between local branches, Edinburgh Head Office, and the wider group businesses.
- Maintain service excellence, embedding company values into daily operations to ensure a premium customer experience and minimize complaints.
- Act as the senior point of escalation for complex client issues, directly managing customer resolutions and representing the organization in any formal HPC / PRS cases if required.
- Support Head Office in vetting, recruiting, and managing relationships with reliable third-party contractors.
