Ranging from assigned company cars, pool cars, electric vehicles, vans, to high end cars, we serve a varied range of stakeholders whose mobility is critical to our daily operation. As a Fleet Supervisor you will be reporting to our Senior Fleet Manager and working to support our regional teams, you will be responsible for a myriad of duties to ensure the smooth running of our Fleet operation. Central governance and oversight is key to consistency across our network, with close account management of suppliers, a thorough understanding of Fleet costs, and a quick turnaround of incoming queries all being essential elements in the success of this role. This role is based within our City of London Head Office and offers an OTE range of Β£33,000 - Β£36,000, dependant on Experience.
Key duties- Facilitating the timely resolution and approval of servicing, maintenance and repair works and ensuring vehicle downtime and costs are kept to a minimum.
- Approval and reporting of key Fleet costs which include vehicle leasing, vehicle repairs, vehicle maintenance, motor fines, fuel and insurance claims costs.
- Overseeing Telematics Data, reporting on driver performance, addressing poor driving behaviours and making data driven recommendations to correct and address high risk drivers.
- Work closely with the Finance and Payroll teams in managing costs, budget, understanding billing, handling any disputes, and problem solving to resolve accounting and driver recharge related issues.
- Regular company car driver comms and close communication with our regional brands across the UK ensuring accurate reporting and communication of key information, policies and processes, and any legislative change.
- Managing supplier relationships, KPI's and problem resolutions β this includes a variety of leasing companies, fuel card suppliers, FMG, insurance brokers, fleet insurance providers, garages and repair networks.
- Overseeing all aspects of Parking & Tolls, which includes the London Congestion Charge, national RingGo/PaybyPhone accounts, Business parking permits, private parking contracts, parking and road traffic fines and ensuring correct cost allocations.
- Fleet Insurance. MID management, Claims management, repairs estimates and approves, repairs progression, and working with panel solicitors on any ongoing claims or disputes.
- Maintaining accurate records and a trail of activity with key dates and targets on all aspects of Fleet.
- Regular reporting of key Fleet activity including insurance claims, telematics, repairs, maintenance, parking and tolls.
- Working with our Acquisitions team in their regular project work to ensure activity progression and the seamless transition of new entities into the Lomond corporate structure.
- Working knowledge of car servicing, maintenance and repair requirements.
- Familiarity with repairs processes, estimates and BVRLA guidelines advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Vehicle Leasing and Contract Hire.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Strong background and experience within a Fleet management team.
- Understanding of current Fleet industry challenges and solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office functions.
- Proven skills in Excel and PowerBI advantageous.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Efficient time management ability and proven track record of a multifaceted role.
- Experience dealing with varied stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- An eye for detail, with an ability to think laterally and problem solve.
