This position is part of the Finance Outsourcing Governance & Control (FOGC) function within the Finance Division’s Global Centralised Management organisation and is key to contributing to the execution of the Firm’s Deployment and Outsourcing strategy. This Global Finance team works closely with many levels of management to ensure adherence to all applicable global outsourcing regulations and documentation requirements.
With increased regulatory focus and scrutiny around Outsourcing Governance, this role will encompass a diverse set of tasks, requiring key skills such as strong communication, attention to detail, critical thinking, data analytics, and experience in developing and implementing new process controls and efficiencies.
What will you be doing?
- Prepare materials on effective outsourcing requirements for global senior stakeholders.
- Maintain outsourcing documentation, procedures and controls in line with Firm policy and provide updates to management on remedial actions required.
- Identify, analyse and assess current operational processes within the team to improve and enhance controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope and ensure adherence to plans and timelines for process enhancements.
- Assist in the development and testing of a strategic tooling project to automate reporting to support long-term solutions, in partnership with Finance Technology.
- Partner with cross-location team members to coordinate the successful integration of change and process improvement initiatives and the execution of ad-hoc internal and regulatory projects.
- Create and maintain training materials, formal procedures, guidance documents, process flows and quick reference cards to support change initiatives and embed key processes.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to communicate changes and foster better understanding of new and existing controls, processes, and regulatory updates.
- Remain informed about industry best practices, trends and emerging technologies within finance and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage agenda for global team deliverables, tracking progress and providing MI reporting.
