About The Role

All HGV Driver roles involve standard working hours Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting palletised cargo across the Northern Ireland area using curtain-sided vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure safe and legal operation at all times.
• Plan and manage routes efficiently, reporting any significant deviations and supervising safe loading/unloading of goods.
• Promote resource conservation, including fuel and equipment.
• Serve as a professional company representative in all interactions with clients, the public, and colleagues.
• Follow all legal requirements and company policies, providing clear proof of delivery and communicating any issues or incidents promptly.

About You

As a HGV Driver, you will hold a full UK driving licence with Category C+E (Class 1). Ideally you will have experience as an HGV/Class 1 but it is not essential, as we provide a thorough induction programme for the right candidate. Excellent communication skills and a courteous, professional manner are essential. You will be expected to maintain your vehicle in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times. ADR and/or a forklift licence is desirable but not required.
