We are currently recruiting form a Forklift and Warehouse Operative to join our Ipswich base! Fantastic Company Benefits Include: Competitive Salary: On offer is a salary £27,040 per annum based on £13 per hour Hours: 40 hours available with overtime Company Pension Employee extras such as: Employee wellness programme, company events and networking opportunities as well as support in professional growth and career advancement About the role:  The Forklift and Warehouse Operative will be responsible for ensuring the safe offloading and loading of cargo from/to pallet network trunk trailers, collection, and delivery vehicles and into and out of the warehouse and yard to meet operational needs, whilst always ensuring safe working practices with due care and attention. Main duties and Responsibilities include: Picking and packing of orders to customer specification Scanning Offloading and loading of cargo as required Checking and replenishing stock Assisting goods in/out Warehouse and yard maintenance to ensure a clean, tidy and safe working environment Operate a forklift ensuring the safe movement of cargo across the site Support the wider Pallet Network team by undertaking other duties to cover team absence and/or peaks in the business Manual handling activities as required, to include but not limited to, container handballing Any other duties which might reasonably be requested in association with this role to meet the needs of the business. About you: The successful Forklift and Warehouse Operative will need to hold a valid FLT license and be available to work Monday to Friday from 12.00pm to 8.30pm based at out Ipswich depot (IP1). Experience within a similar role is required. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team, as well as the ability to multitask with a calm and flexible approach. You will also be capable of operating with minimal supervision within broad guidelines.
