About the Role
We are a family-run property business looking for a proactive, organised and hands-on individual to join our team in a varied role combining property acquisitions and wider business support.
This role would suit someone with previous experience in the property sector who understands how the industry works, can assess opportunities quickly, is confident dealing with vendors, has excellent organisational and communication skills.
Working closely with the acquisitions team and senior management, you will support opportunities from the initial lead through to completion, while also helping manage day-to-day business operations, coordinate priorities and ensure the business runs smoothly.
We are looking for someone commercially minded, reliable and resourceful, who takes ownership, builds strong relationships and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Acquisitions & Deal Progression
- Manage incoming property leads and ensure all opportunities are followed up promptly
- Create and maintain accurate property schedules, deal trackers and acquisition records.
- Support the acquisitions team with day-to-day activities and new opportunities.
- Help progress deals through the full acquisition process, from initial enquiry and negotiation through to completion.
- Monitor deadlines, outstanding actions and key milestones, ensuring nothing is missed.
Business Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative and organisational support to senior management.
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings and coordinate appointments.
- Organise meetings, prepare relevant information and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
- Manage email correspondence, calls and general enquiries, prioritising matters appropriately.
- Assist with travel arrangements and meeting logistics
- Follow up with internal and external contacts to ensure tasks and projects are completed on time.
- Maintain organised digital files, documents, property records and internal systems
- Identify outstanding actions, anticipate potential issues and take a proactive approach to resolving them.
- Provide general administrative and project support across the business
- Handle confidential information professionally and use discretion when dealing with sensitive matters.
Experience & Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working in the property sector, in acquisitions, estate agency, property investment, sales progression or a similar role.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other standard office applications.
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to keep information accurate and up to date.
- A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to use initiative and work independently.
The Ideal Candidate:
- We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable discussing a property opportunity with a vendor, updating an acquisition tracker, coordinating a meeting or helping senior management stay on top of their priorities.
- You will be a natural organiser who enjoys variety, takes ownership of tasks and understands the importance of following things through to completion. You should be adaptable, approachable and willing to get involved wherever support is needed.
- This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property professional looking for a varied, hands-on position with exposure to acquisitions, senior management and the wider running of a growing property business.
