About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years (PQE) to join our in-house legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a wide range of property matters and ensuring seamless execution of transactions. This is a hands-on, office-based position requiring strong technical ability, commercial awareness, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist with all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions
  • Conduct title checks, property searches, and due diligence.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate case records, documentation, and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative and legal support to partners and fee earners across the property department.
  • Assist in post-completion matters, including registration and stamp duty submissions.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years PQE with a strong background in property law (residential and/or commercial)
  • UK Qualified
  • Commutable distance to Battersea SW11
  • Proven experience handling a high-volume caseload.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills.
  • Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, professional environment.
