Lombard Odier Investment Managers (“LOIM”) is the asset management business of the Lombard Odier Group. In order to strengthen our IT Front Office support team, we are looking for a Front Office Junior Business Analyst.
About the role
You will join a global business of more than 400 investment professionals and a network of 13 offices across Europe, Asia and North America. You will report to the head of Front Office Applications and Support based in London and contribute to supporting our Front Office investment teams, Trading, Operations, Compliance and Risk.
In this role, your main responsibilities will include the following:
- Take the lead in the day-to-day support to all business stakeholders regarding LOIM applications.
- Co-ordinate the management of the support email inbox, answering general issues and distributing more complex items amongst the team.
- Monitor team chats and troubleshoot day to day queries from our users.
- Identify the reasons for data breaks and anomalies.
- Manage the setup of new accounts, counterparties and users across our applications.
- Act as subject matter experts for our key front office applications.
- Participate/Support in strategic LOIM projects.
The skills you will demonstrate:
- University degree in finance, business or information technology.
- Initial experience or internship in the finance industry a plus.
- A basic knowledge of investment management processes, OMS workflows and financial instruments desirable.
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills.
- Inquisitive nature with a desire to understand and improve technical processes.
- Ability to work with short deadlines and multi-task.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative, team based environment.
- Exposure to the Bloomberg ecosystem a plus.
- Some experience in end-user development languages such as Python, VBA, SQL, XML a plus.
- Fluent in English. French a plus.
