You will lead the Quality & Continuous Improvement function in ensuring that raw materials, products and services conform to technical specifications, perform reliably, meet internal and external quality expectations, and comply with all relevant standards, regulations, licenses, and certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying the relevant international quality standards and ensuring that these requirements are implemented.
- Managing projects to change or optimise quality processes and procedures.
- Acting as quality auditor, working with departments to provide usable recommendations for improvement and compliance.
- Ensuring all business critical, legal and ITW required processes/requirements are documented and followed so that we are able to achieve successful audit results across Loma Globally.
- Remain abreast of the latest Quality legislation to ensure we remain compliant.
- Take ownership for ensuring that our Quality improvement and corrective action team is productive and running efficiently.
- Successful maintenance and monitoring of a robust Quality Management System.
- Provide oversight of the product support function, investigating and making appropriate decisions on Customer escalations and appropriateness of zero value orders.
- Making commercial decisions about these escalations and where appropriate recommend an approach for resolution.
- Track warranty information and report and analyse data on common product defects, recommending actions to help resolve these.
Position Requirements:
- Significant experience of working in a quality management role for a capital equipment manufacturing organisation.
- Significant experience implementing and optimising quality systems and processes.
- Good understanding of manufacturing process.
- Previous experience obtaining and maintaining ISO accreditation.
- Ability to make decisions based on complex data analysis.
- Degree in relevant technical discipline or equivalent.

- Experience managing others.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
