The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.
Goal of position: To ensure the products and service supplied by the company are at the highest level. This will be achieved through the successful creation, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of a robust Quality Management System.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to ensure that relevant external audit requirements and quality standards are met (e.g. ISO 9001).
- Focus to ensure that processes are in place to ensure all products that enter and leave the factory meet the required quality levels.
- Managing projects to change or optimise quality processes and procedures.
- Ensuring all business‑critical processes are documented and followed.
- Ensuring that strict compliance with the quality system.
- Influencing colleagues around the business on the importance of the quality system and compliance with it.
- Responsible for the return to supplier process, measure and reporting.
- Acting as internal quality auditor for ISO, Initial Verification and ATEX.
- Responsible to ensure administration for Zero Value Order process is correct, accurate and ZVO reporting is up to date.
- Support on site H&S items as required.
- Act as internal expert for all quality related issues.
- Dealing with recording, investigation of Quality issues, identify roots caused, deal with corrective actions and preventative actions.
Position Requirements
- Essential experience of working in a quality management role for a capital equipment manufacturing organisation.
- Significant experience implementing and optimising quality systems.
- Good understanding of manufacturing process.
- Be able to demonstrate data‑led decision making following in-depth analysis.
- Credibility to influence key members of the organisation.
- Detail conscious and self‑organised.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications.

- Technical/engineering qualification.
