This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of sales, planning, and customer interaction. You will be responsible for securing specified service contracts, pushing the hire and rental revenue, coordinating machines to be on site in line with the customers expectations. To arrange and plan overhauls at customer sites, driving proactive sales of service products, which include upgrades, training and refurbs.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy of how to best support the sales of Loma’s aftermarket products by creating a deliverable Sales Plan and identify sites for new business opportunities.
- To review performance of existing contracts, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cross-selling and working with the wider sales team to maximise Loma’s market share and the retention of existing service contact revenues.
- Be the primary point of contact for customers with regards to the promotion of Loma’s aftermarket products. Prepare customer proposals, follow up and win business.
- Promote Loma service offering and work closely with the other internal functions to ensure aftermarket (contracts, hire, training & upgrades) revenue is maximised.
- Meet and exceed the agreed sales revenue target whilst maintaining pricing levels and margins.
- Update the CRM system, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
- Feedback competitor activity and market developments to the wider sales team.
- Provide information in a timely manner for invoicing.
- In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder may be asked to carry out tasks assigned by their line manager that are essentially related to their duties.
Experience
- Experience of sales and working within a commercial environment.
- Experience selling an intangible product such as service contracts or insurance.
- Ability to understand company sales tools including design guides for Metal Detectors, Checkweighers and X-Ray equipment and the associated technical applications.

- A proven track-record in partnering with customers in a technical sales role and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-organised with an ability to manage a busy schedule and workload.
- Excellent phone manner.
- IT literate – able to use word, excel, power point and good presentation skills.
- 10% of the time travelling to customer sites or occasional customer visits.
