We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented NPD Technical Assistant to join our Food Product Development and technical team. This role is key in supporting the development and launch of our products from concept to market. You will work alongside our NPD team and Technical team to ensure the smooth execution of product testing, nutritional labelling and product creation in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Your Responsibilities As a NPD technical assistant at Lola’s Cupcakes, you will be expected: To assist NPD on any EPD and administration to ensure we have the best possible products. Ensuring all paperwork and processes are up to date and following food safety laws. Testing out new ingredients and changes to make sure it is suitable for the market. Supporting the implementation of Product Development processes, completing documentation and ensuring everything is kept up to date Working alongside the web team on product setup and management Nutritional, ingredient, allergen, recipe and component data management Test internal production lists to validate processes ahead of product launches About you and Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with these qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in food development/science, food technology or culinary. At least 2 years in the food industry or in food science Good communication skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Great team player Fantastic time management skills Good knowledge and understanding of baking and large scale production Computer literate across Excel, Word and PowerPoint with excellent oral and written communication skills, you will be working to tight turnaround times efficiently A real passion for all things food and cake!
