Overview
As Chief Development Officer, lead COOP’s fundraising and development operations to drive a diversified revenue portfolio above $12M annually. Partner closely with the Founder and CEO to align philanthropy with strategic growth and social impact. Shape fundraising strategy, deepen donor and partner relationships, and build scalable systems to support national expansion. Play a key role on the executive team during a period of transformation to amplify COOP’s mission and scale. Responsibilities
- Lead the organization’s fundraising enterprise and strategic direction
- Develop and execute a fundraising plan to exceed $12M in annual revenue
- Strengthen relationships with philanthropic partners, major donors, foundations, and government/institutional funders
- Expand support from diverse funding sources
- Strengthen development operations, forecasting, and reporting
- Guide Board engagement and governance related to fundraising
- Build systems and infrastructure to support long-term growth
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO in philanthropy and organizational strategy
