Reporting to the Customs Manager, the primary goal is to provide timely and accurate customs clearance and excellent customer service to our customers and partners. This includes processing customs entries in CDS, booking jobs into the system, completion of job costing/invoicing and query handling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prioritise your workflow to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Work closely with your colleagues to ensure we maintain the highest possible operational performance and customer service.
- Develop constructive relationships with key customers and suppliers, assisting in resolving any concerns and implementing any corrective action where possible.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with our partners.
- Ensure we have all the relevant information and instructions to complete customs clearance.
- Ensure customs clearances are completed accurately and in line with rules and regulations set out by HMRC.
- Ensure job files are booked into the system and completed in line with customer requirements.
- Provide effective communication both internally and externally.
- Ensure job files are costed and invoiced correctly to maintain accurate financial figures.
- Complete weekly and monthly end routines as directed by your line manager.
- Ensure all Client SOPs and SLAs are followed at all times.
