We're hiring a technical hands-on Senior Network Architect to lead on a number of major network transformation initiatives across Europe within a large-scale enterprise environment. In this position we are looking for a technical specialist, someone with a deep and proven experience working on Global or Pan-European complex distributed networks across data centres, stores/branches, and offices.
As the Senior Network Architect, you will play a key role in consolidating a large number of European data centres into 2 strategic hubs while maintaining uptime and continuity across hundreds of business-critical applications.
Candidates wishing to apply for this position must be able to demonstrate where they have:
- Led architecture programmes across Pan-European network operations
- Driven SD-WAN, Zero Trust, Cloud Networking and DC modernisation initiatives
- Owned both strategic architecture and low-level technical design
- Supported large, distributed environments across multiple EU countries
- Worked across multi-cloud, automation, and enterprise security programmes
You will be technically astute with all things network related and be somewhat of an expert with deep practical expertise with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and/or Juniper technologies. Hands-on delivery experience is valued more highly than certifications, although CCIE, PCNSE, NSE, JNCIE and cloud certifications are all welcomed. Additional European language skills would be advantageous - particularly Italian or Spanish, although French, Dutch or German would also be highly valued.
Fully remote role with some travel across Europe as the business requires.
