Data Centre Electrical and Design Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced DC Electrical and Design Manager to join a fantastic client of mine on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working within the data centre industry and be able to successfully collaborate and contribute within a small team.

Our client is a dynamic consultancy that acts in an advisory capacity to investors on land acquisition and data centre development. They are problem solvers for organizations experiencing issues within their data centres and help investors identify ‘Green field’ sites where new Data Centres can be built.

The successful DC Electrical and Design Manager will have the opportunity to carry out, and get involved with the following (although not limited to):

  1. Advising investors on land acquisition and data centre development
  2. Managing strong vendor relationships and overseeing operational deliverables
  3. Providing expert insight into the design, engineering, and mechanical/electrical components of data centres
  4. Delivering detailed technical reports to present to senior stakeholders
  5. Managing multiple projects simultaneously

Our client invests heavily in their employees and offers a quality working environment. The role is primarily remote with occasional trips to the office; however, when a project arises that requires ‘all hands on deck,’ you must be willing to attend the office with the rest of your team.

Due to the structure and culture of our client, this role would be most suited to someone who has come from an SME / Mid-Size consultancy background and has experience of being hands-on in multiple areas.
