Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimise transportation and distribution globally. The successful candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company standards. This role is essential to supporting the supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
- Schedule transportation, track shipments, and resolve shipping delays or issues.
- Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Prepare and process shipping documents.
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Maintain accurate shipping records.
- Negotiate freight rates and manage shipping budgets.
- General admin duties.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination experience.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international transportation, freight, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency with logistics software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
