About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in freight forwarding or logistics who enjoys building relationships and delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for new and existing clients, providing a professional and responsive service
- Prepare and provide accurate quotations for existing customers via email and telephone
- Manage and develop key customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Proactively engage with existing clients to encourage repeat business and re-bookings
- Deliver exceptional customer service, handling queries and resolving issues efficiently
- Work closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and internal stakeholders
- Maintain strong knowledge of international freight operations, including both import and export processes
- Liaise with operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery and accurate pricing
Requirements:
- Previous experience within freight forwarding or logistics (air, sea, or road)
- Strong understanding of international imports and exports
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident handling quotations and customer enquiries
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts
- Operational background within freight/logistics is highly desirable
