After 35 years of providing freight solutions to businesses, our client has become one of the UK’s most experienced shipping and logistics companies. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Import Operator to join their Cheshire branch. The role will be covering both Ocean and Air Freight consignments.
Duties will involve:
- Providing customer support / service to new and existing customers, updating them on shipments etc
- Completing all relevant documentation and paper work for both Ocean and Air Freight Imports
- Providing customer with quotations / rates
- Completing customs entries
- Chasing shipments and organising deliveries
- Invoicing
Applicants should have at least 2-3 years experience within Imports, be proactive and good at working within a team. Customs experience is a bonus, but not essential, as training can be provided. Salary is between 30-33K depending on experience.
