You’ll be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of a busy transport office, while also playing a key role in developing new and existing business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily transport and freight forwarding operations
- Leading and developing a small, close-knit team
- Driving commercial activity, including trailer reloads and European movements
- Building strong client relationships and onboarding new business
- Ensuring compliance with UK–EU customs regulations
- Experience in transport, logistics, or freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of UK–EU customs procedures
- Proven ability in sales or business development
- Experience managing or supervising staff
- Commercial awareness and understanding of margins
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills
