Deep Sea Import Operator – 30-32K Our client specialises in Import Ocean Freight from the USA, Canada the Far East and Indian Subcontinent markets. They operate their own branches in the USA and UK. They are now looking to expand their Deep Sea Import Department by bringing in an experienced Import Operator. Duties would include: * Processing Import Operations from start to finish * Booking containers with shipping lines * Raising & Processing Shipping Documentation * Import Customs Clearances * Arranging collections * General Import Administration * liaising with customers and carriers * Handling both FCL & LCL shipments * Providing customers with quotations / rates * Completing all relevant documentation The ideal candidate, will have 2 years + experience within the industry and could hit the ground running in an import operations role. However, they would also consider someone with 12+ months experience who is a fast learner and keen to develop into an operators role
