Key Responsibilities
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and successfully converting prospects into long-term customers.
You will act as a subject matter expert for the Vision platform, working closely with both commercial and operational teams to ensure customers receive an exceptional experience from initial sale through to implementation.
You will engage with stakeholders at all levels, from Transport Managers through to Board Directors, demonstrating how Vision can deliver value, improve compliance, and support business growth.
- Identifying and developing new opportunities for the Vision platform across prospective customers.
- Building, managing, and converting a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Working closely with Commercial and Operational teams to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within our existing customer base.
- Delivering engaging presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to customers at all levels.
- Supporting the successful onboarding and implementation of new customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Acting as the Vision product specialist, providing support, guidance, and expertise to the wider commercial team.
- Gathering market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights to help shape future product development and service offerings.
- Representing Logistics UK at trade shows, industry events, seminars, and networking opportunities.
- Supporting tender submissions and commercial proposals for new and existing contracts.
- Identifying opportunities for wider Logistics UK services and referring leads through our CRM system.
