Key Responsibilities This is your chance to work cross-functionally with different departments, and make a real impact on the financial health of the business. Managing your own ledger. Building great relationships with colleagues and customers alike. Driving improvements in billing processes and cash collection Training and onboarding new team members. Ensuring cash targets are achieved and debtor days reduced. Preparing accurate forecasts, reports and KPIs. Overseeing statements, chasing letters, direct debits, journals, refunds and write-offs. Providing support to the Sales Ledger Manager by serving as the primary contact for escalated queries and offering team assistance during peak periods and staff absences. Requirements Proven experience in credit control. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A personable, detail-focused, and proactive approach. Excel skills and confidence with credit control systems. A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
