Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and shape Logistics UK’s policy strategy on decarbonisation, under the guidance of our Head of Decarbonisation Policy.
- Build your expertise in key policy areas, proactively identifying trends and briefing on emerging topics.
- Engage closely with Members, running Councils and Working Groups, to achieve unified views and represent them to policymakers and the media.
- Influence decision-makers by collaborating with government officials and industry stakeholders.
- Craft top-tier consultation responses, briefing materials, and deliver compelling presentations to varied audiences.
- Serve as a spokesperson on relevant topics, shaping media narratives and public perceptions.
- Collaborate across departments to align on wider business goals and contribute to Logistics UK events as a policy expert.
Minimum Requirements:
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
- Outstanding communication skills – persuasive, articulate, and confident in engaging with high-level stakeholders and the media.
- Deep understanding of public policy development and a knack for influencing outcomes.
