We are looking for a dynamic Quality Assurance (QA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) in transport compliance to play a pivotal role in driving exceptional training performance across our organisation. As a key member of our Training Support Services Team, you will help deliver consistent, industry leading training, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure our Quality Management System (QMS) remains robust, reliable and future ready.

Key Responsibilities
- Championing QA excellence by monitoring, planning and evaluating trainer performance, observation reports and audits to uphold QMS standards.
- Coaching and developing internal and associate trainers to deliver outstanding learning experiences.
- Driving training consistency by ensuring delivery quality aligns with defined standards - and offering support where improvements are needed.
- Acting as a transport compliance SME, advising on key legislative aspects and supporting the creation and upkeep of high-quality training resources.
- Leading on QA auditing, preparing accurate reports (including NCCI) and managing observations aligned to the QA audit plan.
- Spotting trends and opportunities, sharing insights to help the Support Services Manager and wider team continuously improve.
- Supporting course accreditation, re-approvals and ensuring our training products stay current, compliant and competitive.
- Driving data-led success by ensuring our training programmes reach the right people and deliver real impact.

Requirements
- Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance and training delivery, especially around training performance and product audit standards.
- Strong understanding of ISO QMS, instructional design and effective adult learning.
- Excellent communication, organisation and planning skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
- Strong customer focus and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Up-to-date knowledge of transport compliance legislation.
- A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn and passion for delivering exceptional training.
While we welcome applicants from a range of locations, our preference is for candidates based in or around the South of the UK, as the role involves travel across the southern region and occasionally to other parts of the UK. A full UK driving licence is essential for this position.
