Logistics People are looking for HGV Shunters/HGV Class 1 Shunters/LGV Shunters/LGV Class 1 Shunters working on a Full time Equivalent (FTE) basis at our Great Bear Dagenham depot. ***6 Months UK HGV Class 1 Driving Experience Required*** Location: Dagenham, RM9 6RS Working Hours: 4 On 4 Off 06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00 Rotating Shifts Available Pay rates: £21.00 P/hr About this role: Operate Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner within the premises Manoeuvre vehicles into loading and unloading bays according to schedules Perform pre-operational checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and drivers to coordinate movement of goods Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies Complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly Assist with general yard duties and maintenance tasks as required About You You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards Previous experience as a shunter or in a similar role is preferred Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation Good communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able t…
