Role Overview: As a Transport Operator, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning container movements across the UK. You’ll be working as part of a fast-paced team ensuring timely deliveries and collections while maintaining high levels of customer service. Key Responsibilities: * Planning and coordinating daily container transport operations * Liaising with drivers, ports, and customers to ensure efficient routing * Monitoring live transport movements and handling any issues that arise * Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company procedures * Using transport management systems to update and track job progress * Communicating clearly with internal teams, hauliers, and external partners Requirements: * Previous experience in a transport operations role within container logistics is essential * Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network * Strong organisational and problem-solving skills * Able to work under pressure and manage multiple jobs at once * Experience using transport software systems * Excellent communication and teamwork skills Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (some flexibility may be required depending on operational needs)
