Job Description

HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted In Goole! 

Logistics Peopleare looking for HGV Drivers/HGV Class 2 Drivers/LGV Drivers/LGV Class 2 Drivers/Class 1 Drivers working at our ESL Goole depot.

Eezehaul, a leading logistics provider in the Southeast, is looking for a Class 2 Day Driver to join their team. The company is known for its stable and growing operations, providing competitive and dependable logistics solutions across the UK. They are seeking an experienced or aspiring Class 2 driver to support their friendly team.

*** 6 months of relevant driving experience required ***

Location: Goole

Working Hours:

  • Wednesday – Sunday Days
  • Thursday – Monday Days

Pay rates:

  • £15.40 – £19.05 P/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver palletised freight across the Southeast and general haulage
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Adhere to driving hours and safety regulations
  • Always present a professional image of the company
  • Complete all paperwork and administrative duties accurately
  • Ensure safe loading/unloading of goods and vehicle security
  • Lead and support other drivers
  • Ensure vehicle checks comply with Health and Safety criteria
  • Be flexible with working hours and weekend shifts (1 in every 6/8 weeks)
  • Single & multi-drop tail-lift deliveries to ‘Express’ stores across North England.
  • Multi-temperature products (Chilled, Produce, Ambient, Frozen)

About You

  • You should hold a HGV 1/C+E Licence for a minimum of 12 months with a minimum of 6 months UK HGV Class 1 driving experience
  • No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
  • Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
  • Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
  • Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
  • Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
