What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out preventative, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance on high-level pallet-handling cranes and automated handling equipment
- Supporting day-to-day site operations alongside the client’s maintenance team
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults including bearings, chains, belts, rollers, motors, gearboxes, and drive systems
- Assisting with breakdowns and restoring equipment availability safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or mechanically biased apprenticeship)
- Strong hands-on mechanical experience within automation, MHE, warehousing, or industrial environments
- Proven experience with planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns
- Confident working on large-scale mechanical equipment and automated systems
- Familiar with CMMS or maintenance reporting systems
- Electrical knowledge would be beneficial but this role is primarily mechanically focused.
