What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out preventative, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance on high‑level pallet‑handling cranes and automated handling equipment
- Support day‑to‑day site operations alongside the client's maintenance team
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults including bearings, chains, belts, rollers, motors, gearboxes, and drive systems
- Assist with breakdowns and restore equipment availability safely and efficiently
What We're Looking For
- City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or mechanically biased apprenticeship)
- Strong hands‑on mechanical experience within automation, MHE, warehousing, or industrial environments
- Proven experience with planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns
- Confident working on large‑scale mechanical equipment and automated systems
- Familiar with CMMS or maintenance reporting systems (Electrical knowledge would be beneficial but this role is primarily mechanically focused.)
