Key Responsibilities:
- To design, plan and develop PLC control solutions
- Assist in the development of OT layer cyber security solutions
- Produce technical documentation, complete specification, costings and time plan for each assigned project
- Write the FDS for projects as required and co‑ordinate with colleagues within Engineering and within Systems to ensure alignment of functionality and interfaces.
- Develop PLC software and HMI code for projects and to commission the software on site
- Provide support to other departments and participate in design planning
Qualifications & Experience:
- Expert in Siemens TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, Siemens TIA Safety
- Experience with VFD control, safety hardware and barcode readers, Allen Bradley PLC programming
- Knowledge of IEC 61131
- Degree, HND or HNC in Engineering and competent in Windows‑based systems
