What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out preventative, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance on high‑level pallet‑handling cranes and automated handling equipment
  • Supporting day‑to‑day site operations alongside the client’s maintenance team
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults including bearings, chains, belts, rollers, motors, gearboxes, and drive systems
  • Assisting with breakdowns and restoring equipment availability safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

  • City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or mechanically biased apprenticeship)
  • Strong hands‑on mechanical experience within automation, MHE, warehousing, or industrial environments
  • Proven experience with planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns
