Responsibilities
- Support the Solution Design Team with project development
- Lead the preparation of technical solution drawings and equipment applications
- Stay up to date with technical developments and apply current technologies
- Collaborate with Solutions and Engineering teams to refine designs
- Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and company guidelines
- Manage drawing files, version control, and component libraries
- Mentor junior Solution Engineers in systems design and specification
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in material handling system design
- Expert in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
- Strong understanding of material handling processes and tolerances
- Ability to create concept designs and precise technical drawings
- Excellent problem‑solving and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Knowledge of structural analysis and load calculations
