Logirec Recruitment are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join an established and growing commercial painting and decorating company. This is a key role for a reliable, professional and solution-driven individual with a strong site presence and excellent client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple live painting and decorating contracts simultaneously
- Take projects from contract handover through to final completion
- Control labour, programme, quality and overall site performance
- Manage site supervisors and subcontract painting teams
- Attend site and client meetings, acting as the main point of contact
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, including RAMS, COSHH and CDM 2015
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Proactively identify and resolve site and programme issues
About You
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager within painting and decorating (or closely aligned trades)
- Strong experience managing subcontract labour, ideally within painting and decorating or refurbishment
- Confident, professional and client-facing with strong communication skills
- Hands-on, practical and solution-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications
- CSCS card (Management level preferred)
- SMSTS or SSSTS
