Logirec Recruitment (agy) are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Control Manager to join a leading manufacturing business based in East Tilbury. This is a newly created role offering genuine autonomy to shape, improve and lead quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing procedures and develop improved, efficient quality systems
- Lead day-to-day quality control activities, including product checks and process monitoring, managing factory floor staff
- Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Develop clear, practical work instructions and training materials for production staff
- Monitor product performance and ensure compliance with internal and customer expectations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation
- Liaise effectively with customers and suppliers regarding quality standards, expectations and concerns
You will need :
- Proven experience in a manufacturing / supervisory quality control role
- A practical, hands‑on approach and confidence working on the production floor
- Strong problem‑solving and organisational skills
- Clear, confident communication skills at all levels of the business
- A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for improving processes and systems
