Logiq is a fast-growing technology company providing secure, high-assurance solutions to clients across the private and public sectors. Due to continued growth in our Security Capability, we are looking for experienced Technical Security Architects to join our team.
What is Technical Security Architecture? Unlike many consultancy security architecture roles that focus primarily on governance, policy and compliance, this role is centred on the design of secure technical solutions. Our architects work directly with delivery teams, engineers and customer architects to solve complex technical challenges and enable secure operational outcomes. As a leading contributor to Secure by Design transformation across complex environments, Logiq helps clients make practical, evidence-based security decisions that support business objectives, manage cyber risk and enable secure delivery.
We are seeking an exceptionally capable Technical Security Architect to join our Security Architecture team within the Security Practice. You will help clients design secure technical solutions, manage security risks within complex architectures, and ensure that systems are aligned to Secure by Design principles throughout the delivery lifecycle.
As leading players in MOD’s cyber security transformation to Secure by Design (SbD), we are looking for team members and leaders who share our vision that cyber risk management is driven by business requirements and a holistic view of security that can guide clients to secure solutions that support their business objectives.
Why Join Us?
- Work on impactful projects that drive efficiency and innovation across diverse sectors.
- Access professional development pathways tailored to your career ambitions.
- Enjoy flexible working arrangements and a competitive benefits package.
What the team say:
“At Logiq, I love being part of a team that thrives on exciting, fast-paced projects in complex environments. We focus on delivering real value rather than getting bogged down by unnecessary processes. The collaborative culture encourages initiative and empowers me to make impactful decisions, with support always available when I need it. I also feel supported in my project work and career development, with plenty of opportunities to enhance my skills and take on new challenges. Logiq’s investment in its people ensures I have both the tools and encouragement to achieve my goals.”
As someone with a challenging home life, including children with additional needs, the hybrid working model has been invaluable. Logiq treats me as a professional, trusting me to manage my work, projects, and outputs while balancing my family commitments. The flexibility to adapt my schedule for school runs and care needs, combined with a supportive team and rewarding work, makes this a truly unique place to grow and succeed.
The Role:
You will be an experienced Security Architect with a strong technical background in systems engineering, infrastructure, cloud, software, networking or platform architecture. You will work alongside client delivery teams to design secure solutions, make architectural decisions, manage technical risk and ensure systems are Secure by Design throughout the delivery lifecycle. This role combines technical architecture experience with the ability to explain complex security challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will be comfortable operating at the intersection of architecture, engineering and cyber security, helping clients deliver secure, resilient and operationally effective systems.
Our consultants are engaged across security engineering and assurance work, supporting parallel projects and workstreams. You will contribute to day-to-day client engagement, provide technical leadership where required, and support bids, pre-sales and business development activity where appropriate.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have moved into security architecture from technical architecture, systems engineering, infrastructure, cloud, platform, network or software engineering backgrounds.
Ideally your experience will include:
- Designing security architectures for enterprise, cloud, hybrid and/or on-premises environments.
- Developing security architectures that balance business requirements, operational constraints and cyber security risks.
- Producing architecture artefacts including security architectures, solution designs, design patterns and technology roadmaps.
- Applying security principles across networks, platforms, applications, data and identity services.
- Conducting threat modelling and security risk analysis during solution design and delivery.
- Working with engineering and delivery teams to embed security controls throughout development and operational lifecycles.
- Evaluating technologies, assessing security implications and making evidence-based architectural decisions.
- Supporting architecture governance, design reviews and technical assurance activities.
- Translating security requirements into practical technical controls and implementation guidance.
- Defining approaches to Zero Trust, identity, privileged access, encryption, protective monitoring and security service integration.
- Working within classified, regulated or high-assurance environments where security requirements must be balanced with operational outcomes.
What We’re Looking for:
- Demonstrable experience designing and delivering secure technical architectures.
- Experience operating as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Systems Architect or Security Architect.
- Strong understanding of system engineering and technology delivery lifecycles.
- One or more relevant architecture, engineering or security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, CCSP or equivalent professional experience.
