The Role
As a Senior or Principal Solution Architect, your initial assignment will focus on engineering and manufacturing application portfolios supporting the design, manufacture and lifecycle management of engine programmes.
You will translate business capabilities and requirements into coherent technology solutions, ensuring applications integrate effectively with enterprise platforms and comply with Defence governance.
This is not a narrowly defined manufacturing role.
You will join the wider Logiq Architecture practice and must bring broad Solution Architecture capability, sound Defence knowledge and the adaptability to work across different technologies, customers and future assignments.
You will work from concept through implementation, collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, Security Architecture, Technical Design Authorities, project teams, delivery partners and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership across assigned projects and programmes.
- Develop end-to-end solution architectures that address business, technical, operational and security requirements.
- Produce Solution Overview Documents, Conceptual Architecture Designs, Architecture Information Assurance submissions and High Level Designs where required.
- Define functional and non-functional requirements and support production of Statements of Requirement and RFQs.
- Define integration architectures across manufacturing applications, PLM, CAD, ERP, MES and enterprise platforms.
- Maintain Architecture Decision Records, technical risks, assumptions and dependencies.
- Provide technical assurance and architectural support throughout implementation and transition.
- Communicate complex design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Remain accountable for architectural coherence and overall solution quality.
