Due to continued growth in our Security Capability, we are looking for experienced Security Architecture & Assurance Consultants to join our team.
What is Security Architecture & Assurance?
This role combines Security Architecture and Security Assurance disciplines.
Our consultants work directly with delivery teams, engineers, architects, governance bodies and stakeholders to design secure solutions, assess security risks, provide independent assurance and support secure operational outcomes.
We help clients make practical, evidence-based security decisions by balancing technical design, business requirements, delivery constraints and cyber risk throughout the lifecycle.

The Role
You will be an experienced Security Consultant with a background in Security Architecture, Security Assurance, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud, Software or Platform Architecture.
You will support clients in designing secure solutions, assessing risks, conducting assurance activities and ensuring that security requirements are appropriately implemented throughout the delivery lifecycle.
The role combines technical understanding with assurance and risk management expertise.
You will work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to help clients understand risks, make informed decisions and deliver secure operational outcomes.
Ideally your experience will include
- Conducting security architecture reviews and technical assurance activities.
- Designing security architectures for enterprise, cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments.
- Performing threat modelling, security risk assessments and security analysis.
- Producing architecture artefacts including security architectures, solution designs and technology roadmaps.
- Producing and reviewing security assurance evidence and assurance artefacts.
- Supporting governance, design authority and assurance review boards.
- Evaluating solution compliance against security policies, standards and frameworks.
- Identifying security risks and recommending practical mitigations.
- Supporting accreditation, assurance and risk acceptance processes.
- Providing independent challenge and assurance to delivery teams whilst ensuring security requirements are balanced against operational outcomes.
What We’re Looking for
- Demonstrable experience in Security Architecture, Security Assurance, Technical Security, Risk Assessment or Systems Engineering.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews, security assessments, assurance activities or supporting security governance within complex technology environments.
- Strong understanding of system engineering and technology delivery lifecycles.
- One or more relevant architecture, engineering or security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, CCSP or equivalent professional experience.
- TOGAF Certified.
- SABSA Chartered Security Architect.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional.
- NCSC Certified Cyber Professional (Security Architecture).
- CIISec Full Member.
- Chartered status through UK Cyber Security Council, CIISec, BCS, IET or equivalent professional body.
