Location: Hybrid

As a Principal Enterprise Architect, your primary purpose will be to provide Architecture advice and solutions at an Enterprise and business level into some of Logiq’s most high profile and impactful projects, acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients involved in complex delivery.
You will:
- Produce architecture artefacts (e.g. high level designs, enterprise and business architectures, operating models, transition states, roadmaps) as required to articulate just enough design definition appropriate to the task at hand.
- Tailor and lead architecture development processes to drive community convergence around critical design choices.
- Act as a bridge between business operating models, processes and technical solutions.
- Guide architecture modelling activities iaw preferred architecture frameworks and development methodologies used in Defence.
- Develop and advise on appropriate delivery models for complex technology solutions.
- Work closely with Stakeholders to bring them along on the design journey.
- Engage with design authorities and other stakeholders to support design approvals processes.
- Lead small teams of architects and systems engineers on a day-to-day basis, setting priorities, maintaining backlog, agreeing scope with the customer and defining technical tasks.
Key to success in our clients’ environments will be the ability to distil and communicate highly complex concepts with simplicity and in a compelling way and to be able to effectively “see the wood for the trees” in highly technical environments. Over time, and aligned with the wider responsibilities of a Principal consultant you will work in or lead other Logiq projects. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, adapting to various roles within client projects over time. What We’re Looking For:
- Significant experience in leading the design and technically overseeing implementation of complex IT requirements and technology solutions and services.
- Expert in the application and tailoring of a variety of Architecture frameworks, development methodologies, ontologies and languages in use in Defence such as NAF, UAF and Archimate/SysML, and production of relevant architecture views (Enterprise, Business, Technology).
- Strong awareness of supporting technologies, enablers and constraints underpinning interoperability and delivery of major Defence digital capabilities, such as: defence Cloud services, Identity, Secure by Design, Infrastructure & networks, Cyber Security, Security Controls and Service Management.
- Knowledge and experience of the relevant governance, policy, processes, and practices relating to delivering solutions and services into MOD.
- Knowledge and experience of architecture and system modelling tools in use in Defence e.g. Sparx, BizzDesign.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrable success in acting as a client trusted advisor position and leading small teams.
- HMG Security Clearance SC or higher, must be willing to apply for higher clearance.
- Understanding of major defence initiatives, approaches and taxonomies associated with interoperability including: NATO C3 Taxonomy, FMN, UK and NATO Defence Standards.
- Principles and technologies relating to delivering Data Centric Interoperability and Data Centric Security as expressed by ACP240.
