Contract Software Engineer (TypeScript) based in Brighton, remote/hybrid is possible. The Software Engineer will join a new, exciting company focused on developing the latest wearable technology. The Engineer will work with a Software Team to rebuild the cross‑platform application using React Native / Typescript with a Firebase backend.
Responsibilities
- Deliver features to meet company goals.
- Build and maintain the cross‑platform app with React Native / Typescript.
- Ensure the system remains operational and support projects.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in React Native and Typescript.
- Familiar with Bluetooth and ideally wearable technology.
- AI literacy and ability to apply this skill set to the business.
- Minimum of 4 years experience.
Conditions
- Contract can start at 3 days per week and may increase or reduce based on product development targets.
- Rates are flexible and open to increase with productivity; may lead to a full‑time or long‑term contract role.
- Position is not open to graduates, graduate schemes or candidates requiring sponsorship to work in the UK.
