Senior Applications Engineer - Semiconductors

I currently have two similar roles, one based in Sheffield with an exciting start up company working on Semiconductor Sensor Technology and another based in Cambridge with an established orgainisation focusing on design-in, Electronic Reference Design and focus on Optical / Semiconductor products both internally and externally.

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree with experience in Semiconductor or Optical Devices with proven experience working as an Applications Engineer.

Key skills should include:

Electronic Design for Reference / Design-in

Test and Measurement of Semiconductor Devices or Optical Technologies

Other areas of interest will include: PCB Design / Schematics, Signal Integrity, RF and High Speed Optical Systems.
