Based Hybrid in Central London commutable from Cambridge, the Embedded Linux Kernel Engineer will be working on the development of a range of Embedded Software to host and monitor high-speed networks. The Embedded Linux Engineer will be working with a company developing AI/ML Technologies for datacentres for a sustainable future. The company can sponsor, if required, but would prefer not to.

Responsibilities:

  • Software architecture definition of Embedded Software Development within network interface technology.
  • Linux PCIe driver development, which is an essential requirement.
  • Network control and working with prototype hardware to identify root cause issues.

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree with a strong commercial background in Linux Kernel Development, along with:

  • Hands-on experience in embedded development ideally in a product development environment.
  • Strong experience working with PCIe.
  • Experience with C/C++ and Python.

The company also offers good salaries around £95k plus and share options.
