I currently have two similar roles, one based in Sheffield with an exciting start-up company working on Semiconductor Sensor Technology focusing on design-in, Electronic Reference Design and focus on Optical / Semiconductor products both internally and externally.

They have an intermediate and a Senior Applications Engineer working on Semiconductor and Optical Technology, salary ranges for both are around £45k - £85k depending on experience relevant to technology.

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree with experience in Semiconductor or Optical Devices with proven experience working as an Applications Engineer.

Test and Measurement of Semiconductor Devices or Optical Technologies.
